Membership

Companies and professional firms that are located in the Almaden area of San Jose, California (along the Almaden and Blossom Hill corridor, as described below) are welcome to join the Almaden Business Association. Membership is restricted to those businesses or professional firms that: 1) are SJSV Chamber of Commerce members and 2) meet the geographical boundary requirements. Those firms meeting these requirements will be eligible to join the ABA at no additional fee. Simply complete and submit a short Company Application for Almaden Business Association membership.

Effective July 1, 2005, our membership boundaries are defined as: along and adjacent to Almaden Expressway (going north to and including both sides of Branham Lane; and going south to and including Via Valiente) and along Blossom Hill Road (east to Santa Teresa Blvd., including all corners of that intersection; and west to Camden and Blossom Hill, including all corners there).  Those member firms that are outside the current boundaries, but had been approved for membership prior to revision of the geographic boundaries will be eligible to continue their memberships indefinitely, as long as they continue to be members of the SJSV Chamber of Commerce.

ABA Affiliate memberships are open to business professionals who live in the Almaden area and who wish to participate actively in ABA and local business activities, although their employer’s office is not located within ABA’s geographical boundaries. The Affiliate’s employer must be a current member of the SJSV Chamber. An Affiliate Application must be completed and submitted for approval to the ABA Membership Chair, together with the first year’s dues. Affiliate membership rates are $90 per year; and renewal dues are payable every 12 months.
